If you have the 60/40 bucket seats in your S10, Sonoma, Blazer or Jimmy, chances are that your console lid is broken or will break soon.
Pressure on the lid from your elbow cracks the thin plastic on the underside. The damage worsens and becomes more obvious as time goes on. Eventually the crack spreads and will cause the lid to partially collapse.
Solve the problem with our easy-to-install Chevy S10 / Blazer & GMC Sonoma / Jimmy Center Console Lid Armrest Repair Kit!
The galvanized reinforcement plate pushes the plastic, foam and fabric of the lid back into its original position and holds everything securely in place. The pre-drilled plate is simple to install using 4 rivets (provided). Basic instructions are included. If you are not familiar with rivets, I can assure you they are a quick and easy-to-use fastener. Rivet guns are commonly available for under $10 at hardware stores or online.
After installing our kit, you will hardly notice the plate, as it is on the underside of the lid, and the armrest will be as firm as it was when new.
