Barry Cleveland is an artist who renders custom cars using digital imaging in his home studio in Pennsylvania. His passion for cars started in high school, continues today, and was fundamental in developing a proprietary technique he uses to create art of American classic cars. Outside of his work, his hobbies include photography and gardening.
Barry holds numerous graphic and photo awards, and his work has appeared in national publications. His products are marketed through eBay, America on Wheels Museum, GoodGuys and a self-designed web site, www.autoshowart.com, where he sells canvas art, car show boards and t-shirts.
In our interview with Barry, he told us that it was a passion for custom cars that originally motivated him to create automotive art. He notes Bill Motta as one of his favorite artists. As a professional, Barry knows the importance of considering his customer. He even cites client feedback as something that inspires him to create, and advises new and aspiring artists to get to know their customers.
